Stuart Prenatal Warnings and Precautions
It is a good idea to talk to your healthcare provider about Stuart Prenatal warnings and precautions before taking the prenatal vitamins. Tell your healthcare provider if you have anemia or any allergies. Because Stuart Prenatal contains folic acid, it may mask certain types of anemia if too much is taken. Also, Stuart Prenatal contains iron, which may cause life-threatening problems if children accidentally consume too much of it.

Specific Precautions and Warnings for Stuart Prenatal
Some warnings and precautions to be aware of prior to taking Stuart Prenatal include the following:
- Stuart Prenatal contains folic acid, which can mask certain types of anemia. This means that if you take enough folic acid (typically more than is found in Stuart Prenatal), certain types of anemia may not show up on blood tests. However, this does not apply to all types of anemia. If you have anemia, check with your healthcare provider before taking Stuart Prenatal.
- Be sure to keep Stuart Prenatal out of the reach of children. Stuart Prenatal contains iron, and it is easy for children to take too much iron (which can cause life-threatening problems).
- Stuart Prenatal may interact with a few other medications (see Stuart Prenatal Drug Interactions).
- Stuart Prenatal is safe and beneficial for women who are breastfeeding (see Stuart Prenatal and Breastfeeding).
