Stuart Prenatal Drug Interactions

When certain medications are taken with Stuart Prenatal, drug interactions could potentially occur. The minerals in Stuart Prenatal can prevent the medications from being absorbed into the body, so you may need to take Stuart Prenatal a few hours before or after taking other medications. Medicines that can lead to Stuart Prenatal interactions include certain antibiotics, bisphosphonates, and thyroid medications.

 

An Overview of Stuart Prenatal Interactions

 Stuart Prenatal® vitamins can potentially interact with a few other medications. Before taking any other medications, be sure to let your healthcare provider or pharmacist know that you are taking Stuart Prenatal (because the prenatal vitamins are available without a prescription). Some of the medicines that may lead to Stuart Prenatal drug interactions include:
 
  • Bisphosphonate medications, such as:

 

 

  • Fluoroquinolone ("quinolone") antibiotics, such as:

 

 

 

 

  • Thyroid medications (used to treat an underactive thyroid, also known as hypothyroidism), including:
