PrimaCare

Drug Interactions With PrimaCare

PrimaCare can potentially interact with a few other medications (see PrimaCare Interactions).

What Should I Tell My Healthcare Provider?

You should talk with your healthcare provider prior to taking PrimaCare if you have:

  • Anemia
  • A fish allergy
  • Any other allergies, including allergies to food, dyes, or preservatives.

Make sure to tell your healthcare provider about all other medicines you are taking, including prescription and non-prescription medicines, vitamins, and herbal supplements.

(Click PrimaCare Warnings and Precautions to learn more, including information on who should not take the drug.)

What If I Take an Overdose?

It is not known exactly what to expect from an overdose. It is reasonable to assume that side effects from too much of any of the active ingredients in the medication might cause problems. If you think you or someone else may have taken too much PrimaCare, seek immediate medical attention.

(Click PrimaCare Overdose for more information.)

What Should I Do If I Miss a Dose of PrimaCare?

If you forget to take your dose, take your missed dose as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular schedule. Do not take a double dose. If you vomit after taking a dose, do not take another dose (it is difficult to tell how much of the drug was absorbed into your body). If you regularly vomit after taking a dose, talk with your healthcare provider.
