PreNexa Dosage
The standard recommended dosage of PreNexa is one softgel capsule once a day. The prenatal vitamin should be used before, during, and after pregnancy (as these are times of increased nutritional need). This supplement should be taken on a regular basis; if you frequently miss dosages or vomit up the vitamin often, let your healthcare provider know.

PreNexa Dosage: An Introduction
As with other prenatal vitamins, there is only one standard recommended dosage for PreNexa®. As is always the case, do not adjust your PreNexa dose unless your healthcare provider specifically instructs you to do so.
The recommended dosage of PreNexa for use before, during, and after pregnancy is one softgel capsule a day.
It is not a significant concern if you miss a dose (or vomit up a dose) every once in a while, but try to take PreNexa on a regular basis. Let your healthcare provider know if you have trouble keeping PreNexa down or if it causes significant nausea or other side effects. Your healthcare provider may have some useful suggestions or may recommend trying a different prenatal vitamin.

General Information on Dosing With PreNexa
General Information on Dosing With PreNexa
Some considerations for people taking PreNexa include the following:
- PreNexa comes in softgel form. It is taken by mouth once a day.
- You can take PreNexa with food or on an empty stomach. The iron may be better absorbed on an empty stomach, but most women find that taking prenatal vitamins with a little food usually helps with stomach upset.
- You can take PreNexa at any time of the day, but try to take it at the same time each day.
- For the medication to work properly, it must be taken as prescribed. PreNexa will not work if you stop taking it.
- If you are unsure about anything related to your dosage or PreNexa dosing in general, please talk with your doctor, nurse, or pharmacist.
