How Does Prenate Elite Work?

Prenate Elite prenatal vitamins contain a variety of vitamins and minerals that are important for a healthy pregnancy.
Probably most importantly, Prenate Elite contains folic acid, an important nutrient that can prevent certain birth defects (such as spina bifida). It also contains iron, calcium, and a variety of other vitamins and minerals. Because Prenate Elite contains a fairly large dose of iron (larger than many other prenatal vitamins), this prenatal vitamin may be a good choice for women who are prone to anemia.

Prenate Elite also contains docusate sodium, a stool softener that can help relieve constipation (which is common during pregnancy and can be made worse by the minerals in prenatal vitamins).
