Prenate Elite

Drug Interactions With Prenate Elite

Prenate Elite can potentially interact with a few other medications (see Prenate Elite Drug Interactions).

What Should I Tell My Healthcare Provider?

You should talk with your healthcare provider prior to taking Prenate Elite if you have:
  • Anemia
  • Any allergies, including allergies to food, dyes, or preservatives.
Make sure to tell your healthcare provider about any other medicines you are taking, including prescription and non-prescription medicines, vitamins, and herbal supplements.
(Click Prenate Elite Warnings and Precautions to learn more, including information on who should not take the vitamins.)

What If I Take an Overdose of Prenate Elite?

It is not exactly known what to expect from an overdose with Prenate Elite. It is reasonable to assume that the side effects from taking too much of any of the active ingredients (particularly iron) in Prenate Elite might cause problems. If you think you or someone else may have taken too much of this product, seek immediate medical attention.
(Click Prenate Elite Overdose for more information.)

What Should I Do If I Miss a Dose?

If you forget to take your Prenate Elite dose, take your missed dose as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular schedule. Do not take a double dose of Prenate Elite. If you vomit after taking a dose, do not take another dose (it is difficult to tell how much of the supplement was absorbed into your body). If you regularly vomit after taking a dose, talk with your healthcare provider.
