Prenate DHA Drug Interactions

Drug interactions can occur when Prenate DHA is taken with certain other drugs, such as aspirin, certain thyroid medications, and tetracycline antibiotics. Some of these potential Prenate DHA drug interactions may decrease the absorption of the medications into the body or can increase your risk of bleeding. Before taking Prenate DHA, you should talk to your healthcare provider or pharmacist about the interactions that may apply to you.

 

An Overview of Prenate DHA Interactions

 Prenate DHA™ can potentially interact with a few medications. Some of these medicines that may lead to Prenate DHA drug interactions include:
 
  • Aspirin (Bayer®, Ecotrin®, and others)
  • Bisphosphonate medications, including:

 

 

  • Fluoroquinolone ("quinolone") antibiotics, such as:

 

 

 

 

  • Underactive thyroid medications, including:
