Prental Care

Were you looking for information about
Prenatal Care? Prental care is a common misspelling of prenatal care.

To help ensure good prenatal care, it is important to contact your healthcare provider right away if you are pregnant or think you might be pregnant. At your first prenatal care visit, your healthcare provider will talk to you about your health history and your family health history and will perform a physical exam. This visit is also a chance for you to learn about staying healthy during pregnancy. Some tips for good prenatal care include seeing your healthcare provider on a scheduled basis; eating a diet rich in certain vitamins; and avoiding alcohol, smoking, and drugs.
