Pregnancy Info
If you are pregnant for the first time, having information about what to expect can be helpful. For example, you may have the following questions:
- What should I eat? How much should I eat?
- Can I exercise during pregnancy?
- Can I continue to take my current medications?
- Is coffee harmful during pregnancy?
During pregnancy, your body goes through a lot of changes, and your nutritional needs will increase. Your healthcare provider can assist you in setting up a diet plan that provides enough nutrients for you and your baby.
Staying active during pregnancy benefits both you and your baby. However, you may need to make adjustments in the intensity of your exercise program. Low-impact exercise, such as walking or swimming, is often recommended.
