Diclegis Medication Information

If you have pregnancy-related nausea and vomiting, your healthcare provider may prescribe Diclegis® (doxylamine and pyridoxine). This drug comes as a tablet that can be taken one to four times a day. Most women who take this medicine tolerate it fairly well. However, side effects are possible, with drowsiness being the most commonly reported problem.

Although this medication can be an effective way to control nausea and vomiting, it's important to review the safety information for Diclegis before starting treatment to help avoid potentially dangerous complications. For example, your healthcare provider will need to know if you are taking any other medicines or have certain bladder problems or allergies.
