Complications During Pregnancy (Cont.)

Treatment for Complications During Pregnancy

Depending on the individual situation, major pregnancy complications may need to be treated with:

  • A cesarean, forceps, or vacuum delivery
  • A longer hospital stay
  • A blood transfusion.

In rare cases, permanent disability, or even death of the mother or child, may occur.
