During pregnancy, make sure to eat plenty of foods that contain calcium. Calcium is important for the development of your baby's teeth and bones. Good sources of calcium include:
- Dairy products, such as yogurt, cheese, and milk
- Leafy green vegetables
Many pregnant women go through a change in their sexual desires during the first trimester; they may want sex more or less often than before the pregnancy. Either way, this is normal -- you should not take this personally. You may also experience a change in your own sexual desire during this time, and should feel comfortable talking to the doctor about any concerns you may have regarding sex during pregnancy. And remember, you can still be close and intimate with the pregnant mother without having sex.
