Things to Remember When 6 Weeks Pregnant
Despite its name, morning sickness can occur at any hour or all day long, so don't be surprised if the sickness lasts all day. Be sure to drink lots of water if your vomiting is severe, so that you can stay hydrated.
You should also remember that when you are 6 weeks pregnant, it is a critical time for your baby's organ development. Therefore, you should avoid:
- Alcohol
- Nicotine substances
- Drugs
- Beauty treatments (such as perms, hair coloring, and manicures)
- Changing the cat litter.
If you have not already done so, schedule your first prenatal appointment with your healthcare provider.
