Helpful Tips for You During Week 5 of Pregnancy

At week 5 of pregnancy and beyond, you should only be consuming 300 additional calories per day -- that is equal to a candy bar! However, a candy bar would not be the sensible choice your baby needs for you to make. Mothers who are expecting twins need about one-and-a-half times more calories and the ratio increases accordingly with each additional baby.
 
You should also schedule a visit to your doctor this week if you have not already done so. Prenatal care is an important part of a healthy pregnancy and having a healthy baby.
