4 Weeks Pregnant (Cont.)

Changes in Your Body When You're 4 Weeks Pregnant

Congratulations! At the end of the fourth week, you may be celebrating a positive pregnancy test result.

Also, when you are 4 weeks pregnant, you may likely experience early signs of pregnancy that include:

  • Sore breasts
  • Expanding waistline
  • Nausea
  • Increased need to urinate
  • Mood swings
  • Fatigue.

These symptoms may be very similar to your premenstrual symptoms.

Some women also notice a metallic taste in their mouth during this time. No one knows the reason for this, but researchers suspect that it has to do with the change in hormone levels.

If you are pregnant with twins or multiple babies, you will experience the same symptoms as moms who are expecting one child, but they are likely to be intensified.
