35 Weeks Pregnant: Helpful Tips for Parents
Some parents start thinking about "babyproofing" their home around 35 weeks of pregnancy. Realistically, you do not need to worry about doing this until after your baby is born -- more than likely, he or she will not come home and stick a finger in an electrical outlet! You can babyproof your home gradually, as needed. Things to start thinking about include:
- Covering electrical outlets
- Removing choking hazards
- Installing smoke alarms
- Placing foam around hearths and edges of coffee tables
- Blocking off staircases (with a baby gate)
- Putting locks on cabinets.
