33 Weeks Pregnant (Cont.)

Changes in Your Body When 33 Weeks Pregnant

By week 33 of pregnancy, you will have gained between 22 and 28 pounds from your pre-pregnancy weight. The good news is that of the pound a week you're gaining now, roughly half of it is going to your baby.

Your belly button may "pop" anytime from here on out (if yours already has, don't worry -- everyone is different). It will return to its normal look after pregnancy.

Other symptoms of late pregnancy you may be experiencing when 33 weeks pregnant include:

  • Excessive tiredness (make sure to discuss the possibility of anemia with your doctor)
  • Braxton Hicks contractions
  • Pelvic aches (from the pressure of your baby).

You may also be noticing that you have strangely vivid dreams during this period of pregnancy. Also, you may experience a decreased sex drive (libido). This is completely normal.
