3 Weeks Pregnant (Cont.)

Changes in Your Body When You're 3 Weeks Pregnant

For some women, it is possible to have early pregnancy symptoms (that are similar to premenstrual symptoms) even before a pregnancy test shows a positive result. Some symptoms of early pregnancy may include:

  • Breast swelling or tenderness
  • Breast growth
  • Frequent urination
  • Mood swings
  • Fatigue
  • Slight ache in your lower abdomen.

You may also experience slight cramping and spotting of blood toward the end of this week as the blastocyst implants firmly into the wall of the uterus. This is called implantation bleeding. Although not all women experience implantation bleeding, it is completely normal to do so.
