In The Hospital (Postpartum Tubal Ligation)

Following your stay in the recovery room, you will be returned to your regular hospital room. Here your family and friends will be able to visit with you at the scheduled visiting times. You will also resume the normal care of your baby.

You will remain in the hospital for your regular postpartum care. However, it is possible that your stay may be longer, depending on the outcome of the surgery and your ability to recover. Your healthcare providers will regularly update you and your family regarding your recovery.
