Nestabs Drug Interactions

Nestabs Drug Interactions Explained

The following sections explain in detail the potentially negative interactions that can occur when Nestabs is combined with any of the drugs listed above.

Bisphosphonate Medications
The minerals in Nestabs may decrease the amount of bisphosphonate absorbed into the body. Because bisphosphonates are generally not recommended for pregnant women, this interaction is usually not a problem. If your healthcare provider recommends that you take Nestabs and a bisphosphonate, make sure to take Nestabs at least two hours after your bisphosphonate dose.

Fluoroquinolone ("Quinolone") Antibiotics
The minerals in Nestabs may prevent fluoroquinolone antibiotics from being adequately absorbed into the body. If your healthcare provider recommends that you take Nestabs and a fluoroquinolone antibiotic, make sure to take the antibiotic at least two hours before, or six hours after, your Nestabs dosage.

Tetracycline Antibiotics
The minerals in Nestabs may prevent tetracycline antibiotics from being properly absorbed into the body. This interaction is usually not a problem because tetracycline antibiotics are generally not recommended for pregnant women. However, if your healthcare provider recommends a tetracycline antibiotic, make sure to take the antibiotic at least two hours before, or six hours after, your Nestabs dose.

Thyroid Medications
The minerals in Nestabs may decrease the amount of thyroid medication absorbed into the body. If you are taking thyroid medicines, make sure to separate your Nestabs and thyroid medicine doses by at least four hours.
