NataChew Side Effects

Nausea, headaches, and fatigue are among the possible NataChew side effects (based on the reported side effects of the individual components of NataChew). In most cases, the side effects of NataChew are minor and easily treated. However, you should contact your healthcare provider right away if you develop severe nausea or vomiting, severe constipation, or any signs of an allergic reaction.

An Introduction to NataChew Side Effects

As with any medicine, side effects are possible with NataChew® prenatal vitamins. However, not everyone who takes the vitamins will experience side effects. In fact, most people tolerate them quite well. If side effects do occur, in most cases, they are minor and either require no treatment or can easily be treated by you or your healthcare provider.

(This article covers many, but not all, of the possible side effects with NataChew. Your healthcare provider can discuss a more complete list of NataChew side effects with you.)

Possible Side Effects of NataChew

Because prenatal vitamins do not need FDA approval, they are usually not studied as extensively as other types of medications. As a result, detailed information about the possible side effects of prenatal vitamins is not available. However, based on the side effects of the individual components of NataChew, the following side effects are possible:

  • Nausea and vomiting
  • Headaches
  • Intestinal cramps
  • Fatigue
  • Gas or belching
  • Diarrhea or constipation
  • Heartburn or indigestion
  • Muscle aches and pains
  • Metallic taste
  • Ringing in the ears (tinnitus)
  • Insomnia
  • Yellow-orange discoloration of the urine
  • Loss of appetite.
  •
As you can see, many of the possible NataChew side effects are also some of the common aches, pains, and annoyances that can occur during pregnancy. Therefore, it can be difficult to tell whether NataChew (or the pregnancy itself) is causing a particular side effect.
