When you are two weeks pregnant, you're still not actually pregnant yet; although this is an ideal time for you to conceive. It's also a good time to discuss pregnancy issues with your doctor. Your uterine lining is thickening, and your body is preparing to release an egg for fertilization. During this time, you may experience symptoms like fatigue and breast tenderness, due to normal hormone changes that occur at the time of ovulation.
During "week two of pregnancy," you are still not pregnant. During this week, the uterine lining is thickening in preparation for pregnancy. Also, ovulation (the release of an egg) is about to occur. Although it may be confusing to think about a pregnancy starting before your child is even conceived, doctors calculate your due date from the beginning of your last menstrual cycle, since it is hard to know exactly when conception occurred.
