You are 4 weeks pregnant, and by the end of this week, you may begin to have a feeling you might be pregnant! Your baby is transforming into an actual embryo and you may experience some early pregnancy symptoms. Symptoms you may experience when you are 4 weeks pregnant include fuller breasts and morning sickness.
During week 4 of pregnancy, implantation has occurred. Once the fertilized egg has implanted in the uterus, it divides in half. One half sticks to the uterine wall and becomes the placenta, which is the life support system that brings nourishment to your baby and takes waste out. The other half will become the baby. By the end of the 4th week of pregnancy, you will have missed your period.
Did you know that your baby is now about 0.04 inches long?
