Pregnancy Home > 12 Weeks Pregnant

Once you are 12 weeks pregnant, you should find symptoms like morning sickness subsiding. However, you may feel dizzy or lightheaded due to an increase in blood supply. During week 12, the fetus is about 2.5 inches long. The lungs are fully formed, the liver is functioning, and urine is being eliminated. When you are 12 weeks pregnant, you may develop the "pregnancy glow" -- which results in a flushed, plumper, and smoother skin appearance.

12 Weeks Pregnant: An Overview

You are 12 weeks pregnant! People may start telling you that you "glow" and that pregnancy is treating you well. You are also almost through your first trimester.

If a miscarriage is going to occur, it usually occurs before the first 12 weeks of pregnancy.

Many people wait until this point to tell others that they are expecting -- if you are one of these people, congratulations -- you are finally there!
