Minor complications can include:·

· minor bleeding

· infection

· allergic reactions of the skin

· bruising or a collection of blood at the incision site

· burns on the skin

· painful or abnormal scar formation

· delayed return of bowel and/or bladder function

· remaining ectopic tissue.
