Expecta Warnings and Precautions

Understanding Expecta Lipil warnings and precautions is important in order to avoid potential risks associated with the supplement. For example, you should talk to your healthcare provider prior to taking Expecta Lipil if you have a bleeding disorder or any allergies. Expecta Lipil contains an omega-3 fatty acid, which can increase the risk of bleeding if too much of the supplement is taken.

 

Expecta: What Should I Tell My Healthcare Provider?

You should talk with your healthcare provider prior to taking Expecta® Lipil® supplements if you have:
 
  • A bleeding disorder
  • Any allergies, including allergies to medications, dyes, foods, or preservatives.
     
Also, make sure to tell your healthcare provider about any other medicines you are taking, including prescription and non-prescription medicines, vitamins, and herbal supplements.
 

Specific Precautions and Warnings for Expecta

Some warnings and precautions to be aware of prior to taking Expecta Lipil include the following:
 
 
  • Expecta Lipil contains an omega-3 fatty acid. High doses of omega-3 fatty acids can increase the risk of bleeding, although this is not expected to be a problem at the recommended Expecta Lipil dosage. However, if you have a bleeding disorder, please discuss this with your healthcare provider before taking Expecta Lipil.
     
  • Expecta Lipil may interact with a few other medications (see Expecta Drug Interactions).
     
  • Expecta Lipil is safe and beneficial for women who are breastfeeding (see Expecta and Breastfeeding).
