Possible Side Effects of Expecta

Because supplements like Expecta Lipil do not need FDA approval, they are usually not studied as extensively as other types of medications.

As a result, detailed information about the possible side effects of prenatal vitamins is not available. However, based on the side effects of docosahexaenoic acid (DHA), the active ingredient of Expecta Lipil, the following side effects are possible:

Nausea
Vomiting
Belching.

As you can see, the possible Expecta Lipil side effects are also some of the common aches, pains, and annoyances that can occur during pregnancy. Therefore, it can be difficult to tell whether Expecta Lipil (or the pregnancy itself) is causing a particular side effect.
