Hot flashes, abnormal menstrual bleeding, and upset stomach are some of the most common side effects seen with Clomid®. Side effects that are much less common and have been reported in less than 1 percent of patients include dizziness, hair loss, and diarrhea. Clomid side effects are generally considered minor and do not require medical attention, but certain problems may be more serious and should be reported to a healthcare professional immediately, including: symptoms of ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome, such as nausea, vomiting, or weight gain; any signs of an allergic reaction; severe abdominal pain; or changes in vision.
