Citracal Prenatal + DHA Side Effects

You should notify your healthcare provider right away if you experience severe nausea or vomiting, unusual bleeding or bruising, or signs of an allergic reaction while taking Citracal Prenatal + DHA. Side effects of the prenatal vitamins, however, are typically minor and don't usually require medical attention. Some of the common side effects of Citracal Prenatal + DHA include fatigue, indigestion, and loss of appetite (which are also all common symptoms of pregnancy).

An Introduction to Citracal Prenatal + DHA Side Effects

As with any medicine, side effects are possible with Citracal^® Prenatal +

DHA prenatal vitamins. However, not everyone who takes the vitamins will experience side effects. In fact, most people tolerate them quite well. If side effects do occur, in most cases, they are minor and either require no treatment or can easily be treated by you or your healthcare provider.

Citracal Prenatal + DHA products have been discontinued by the manufacturer. They have been replaced by the Citranatal line of products. The Citranatal products are very similar to Citracal Prenatal + DHA products but have slight differences. There are now more formulations to choose from, and the formulations no longer include vitamin A and vitamin B₁₂.
