Citracal Prenatal + DHA Drug Interactions

A number of medicines may cause Citracal Prenatal + DHA drug interactions, including aspirin, certain osteoporosis medications, and some antibiotics. Some of these interactions can decrease the absorption of the medications into the body. To avoid any possible complications, be sure to talk to your healthcare provider about any potential drug interactions with Citracal Prenatal + DHA. You may need to take your Citracal Prenatal + DHA vitamins and certain other medications a few hours apart.

 

An Overview of Citracal Prenatal + DHA Interactions

Citracal® Prenatal +
 DHA and Citracal Prenatal 90 + DHA prenatal vitamins can potentially interact with a few other medicines. Some of these medicines that may lead to Citracal Prenatal + DHA drug interactions include:
 
  • Aspirin (such as Bayer® and many others)
  • Bisphosphonate medications for osteoporosis or other bone conditions, including:

 

 

  • Fluoroquinolone antibiotics (also known as "quinolones"), such as:

 

 

 

 

  • Hypothyroidism medications, including:
