It is important to remember that labor can often be an intense experience. It is good to be mentally prepared for the possible events that can happen. It is ALSO a good idea to get regular pre-natal check-ups and take good care of yourself and your baby during your pregnancy. Women who DO take good care of themselves usually experience fewer complications during and after labor, and often give birth to healthier babies.
