Braxton Hicks Contractions

There are several ways you can try to relieve Braxton Hicks contractions. If you have been sitting when the contractions occur, try going for a walk. If you feel them while you are active, try sitting or lying down. Some women find a warm bath (less than 30 minutes) to be helpful. Also, drinking a glass or two of water or warm tea might help.
If none of these things work for you, call your healthcare provider for other suggestions.
